Cladding Replacement NSW Government

MSS was successfully awarded a major cladding replacement project with the NSW Government- Office of Project Remediate.

 

Delivering the project under the managing head contractor Hansen Yuncken, the projects’ objective is to remove the identified non-compliant Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP) on the 5 level residential apartment building and replace with a certified and designed non-combustible cladding panel system. The project is currently in delivery and has been split into 3 different stages, with 3 elevations of the building having replacement works take place in a live operating environment.

 

High level scope:

• Liaise with design consultants to deliver as per the regulated design
• Full height scaffolding to the building
• Remove of all existing non compliant ACP panels and sub-framing
• Custom fabrication of new ACP panels
• Installation of new sarking, sub-framing with associated fixings/materials
• Installation of new ACP panels and caulking
• Close out of compliance documents to lift council fire order on the building to deem compliant
