For Perth Airport we provided WSO personnel to oversee airside construction works including the below scope:
Works Safety Officer Services
- Provide trained and competent Work Safety Officer/s (WSO) as required to meet Perth Airports airside works program developed and amended from time to time.
- Develop and maintain Operating Procedures, to be reviewed and approved by Perth Airport, for WSO operating at Perth Airport.
- Develop and maintain a training program recognising the CASA criteria required for the WSO function and the Operating Procedures.
- Irrespective of the Operating Procedures or Method of Works Plan (MOWP) ensure compliance with the provisions contained within the CASA Manual of Standards Part 139 in force and amended from time to time.
- Manage rosters for WSO ensuring fatigue is managed and mitigated, noting WSO hours typically start before and finish after civil contractor hours.
Airside Driving Assessors
- Provide Practical Competency Assessments for the Authority to Drive Airside as per the Perth Airport Airside Vehicle Control Handbook.
